Invites

See who invited whom, spot suspicious joins and reward active inviters automatically with roles or messages.

SetupPremiumRolesAnalytics

Invite tracking records which invite each new member used to join. You can see who brings in the most people, spot suspicious accounts and reward active inviters automatically.

In the dashboard#

  1. Give yurna's role the Manage Server permission. Without it, yurna can't read invites or the vanity URL, and every join is recorded as "unknown".
  2. Open Welcome & members → Invites and switch tracking on at the top right. It's off by default.
  3. Optional: pick a log channel for join reports in the Settings tab.
  4. Optional: add reward tiers with Add tier in the Rewards tab.
  5. If you granted the permission later, click Reload data.

The tabs at a glance:

  • Leaderboard: inviters with regular, left, suspicious, bonus and total – for 7 days, 30 days or all time. Click for details: who the member invited and who invited them. You can also add or remove a bonus (1 to 1,000) there.
  • Rewards: your reward tiers.
  • Settings: log channel, join message and counting.
  • Codes: every invite code yurna knows, with creator, channel, uses and expiry.

How counting works#

Every join gets a type: through a member's invite, through the vanity URL, unknown, suspicious (account too new) or returning (has been on the server before – doesn't count again).

An inviter's total is:

Total = regular − left − suspicious + bonus

If you turn off Subtract leaves, "left" is dropped.

Settings#

In the Settings tab:

  • Log channel: yurna reports each join here with the invite that was used. Without a channel, it only counts.
  • Join message: your own text with the placeholders {member}, {inviter}, {count}, {code}, {server}. The preview shows different cases.
  • Accounts younger than (days) count as suspicious: 0 to 365, default 7. Suspicious joins don't count; 0 turns the check off.
  • Subtract leaves (on by default): if an invited member leaves the server, the invite no longer counts.
  • Stack reward roles (on by default): on – members keep every role they reached. Off – only the role of the highest tier reached stays.

Reward tiers#

In the Rewards tab you decide what happens after how many invites (threshold 1 to 100,000, based on the total):

  • Give role or Remove role – yurna's role must be above the role and have "Manage Roles". With Revoke again, yurna removes the role if the number drops below the threshold.
  • Message in channel – public congratulations; without a channel, in the log channel.
  • Direct message – privately to the inviter.

Placeholders for reward texts: {inviter}, {count}, {threshold}, {server}.

After a downgrade, all tiers stay saved; only as many active tiers as your plan allows take effect (the ones with the lowest thresholds). The rest are paused.

By command#

Everything also works with /invites. All commands need Manage Server. Options you leave out stay unchanged.

Common questions#

Why is every join "unknown"?#

yurna is missing "Manage Server". Grant it and click Reload data (or use /invites resync).

Why does an inviter have fewer invites than expected?#

Suspicious joins and – depending on the setting – leaves are subtracted.

Does it count if someone leaves and comes back?#

No. A second join counts as returning and isn't counted again.

Can I correct invites by hand?#

Yes. Give the member a bonus in the leaderboard, or use /invites bonus give with a negative number.
