Voice XP and XP rate
XP for time in voice channels too, plus an XP rate from x0.25 to x3 for the whole level system.
Two additions to the level system: members can also earn XP for time spent together in voice channels, and the XP rate decides how fast everyone levels up.
In the dashboard#
Open Levels & XP in the dashboard (/dashboard/<server>/leaderboard). The section XP rate & voice XP sits above the leaderboard (#xp-rate).
XP rate#
Pick a tile: x0.25, x0.5, x0.75, x1, x1.5, x2, x2.5 or x3. The rate applies to message and voice XP and takes effect immediately for new XP. XP already earned stays unchanged. Every award gives at least 1 XP.
Voice XP#
Turn on XP in voice channels and set how much XP there is per minute (1–50, default 10, then the rate is applied). yurna checks all voice channels every minute. There is no XP:
- in the server’s AFK channel,
- for members who are muted or deafened (by themselves or by the server),
- for members alone in the channel – it takes at least two members who can listen and talk,
- for bots.
Voice XP counts for the leaderboard, /rank and milestones just like message XP. yurna only sends a level-up message for message XP (there it is clear which channel it belongs in).
Note
Voice XP only works when the level system itself is turned on.
