More moderation commands: clean-up, slowmode, roles, emojis

Delete messages, set slowmode, assign roles, manage emojis and change nicknames – the tools for everyday moderation.

CommandsDashboardModerationRolesMessages

Besides warnings, timeouts and bans (see Case files), yurna has tools for looking after your server day to day: look up members, change nicknames and XP, clean up messages, set slowmode, assign roles and manage emojis. These tools do not create cases.

In the dashboard#

Member list#

  1. Open Welcome & members → Members (/dashboard/<server>/user).
  2. Search by name, username or ID and filter by Role or Permissions. Show former members also lists people who left.
  3. The table shows each member’s permissions, highest role, level, join date, last activity and number of cases.
  4. Click a member to open their profile.

Member profile#

  • Key figures: level, reputation and warnings – a click takes you to the leaderboard, the reputation history or the case file.
  • Badges: Award server badges (with a reason) or take them away again.
  • Record: all cases, running sanctions and New case – more under Case files.
  • Reports about and by the member, plus the Reputation history with Adjust.
  • Adjust XP & level: set, add or remove XP, or set a level.
  • Reset XP: sets XP to 0. This can’t be undone.

Deleting messages, slowmode, assigning roles, nicknames and emojis only work by command.

By command#

If you leave out an optional value, the default applies. By default Discord only shows some commands to members with the matching permission (see the note below).

For /role add and remove, both you and yurna need Manage Roles, and the role must be below your highest role and yurna’s. Creating or deleting emojis and stickers needs Manage Expressions for you and yurna.

Numbers on joins, leaves and messages of the last 30 days are shown by /statistics – see Statistics.

Note

By default Discord only shows /emoji to members with Manage Server, /clear to members with Manage Messages and /slowmode to members with Manage Channels. You can adjust this for individual roles and channels under Discord → Server Settings → Integrations → yurna.

Common questions#

Why does /clear delete old messages so slowly?#

Discord can’t bulk-delete messages older than 14 days. yurna then deletes them one by one – that takes a bit longer.

Why can’t I assign a role?#

The role must be below your highest role and below yurna’s. Both you and yurna also need Manage Roles.

Why don’t I see /emoji or /clear?#

Discord only shows these commands to members with the matching permission. You can change this under Discord → Server Settings → Integrations → yurna. More under Commands missing.

Do these commands create a case in the case file?#

No. Only warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans, notes and trade bans become cases.

Can “Reset XP” be undone?#

No. If you only want to correct something, use Adjust XP & level or /member xp set.
