Auto responder: replies to keywords

With the auto responder yurna replies on its own when someone writes a certain word or sentence – for example "how do I become a mod?" or "ip". No prefix or command needed. Upper and lower case don't matter.

You'll find the page under Dashboard → Auto responder (/dashboard/<server>/auto-responder).

In the dashboard#

1. Click Add auto responder.
2. Enter the Trigger, for example rules.
3. Choose when it fires:
   • Contains – the trigger appears anywhere in the message.
   • Exact – the message consists only of the trigger.
   • Starts with – the message begins with the trigger.
   • Whole word – the trigger appears as a word of its own ("hello" matches "hello you" but not "helloworld").
4. Design the Reply as text, an embed or both. Placeholders: {nutzer} (mention without ping), {server}, {kanal} (channel), {mitglieder} (member count).
5. Turn on Send as reply if yurna should reply directly to the message.
6. Optional: a Reaction (e.g. 👋 or a server emoji). An auto responder can also just react, without any reply.
7. Optional: Filters – only in certain channels, not in certain channels, only for certain roles – and a Cooldown in seconds per channel.
8. Click Save.

In the list you can switch each entry on and off, search, edit and delete. The number on the right shows how often it has fired.

How many auto responders?#

Common questions#

What's the difference to flows?#

Flows can do much more (conditions, several steps) but are premium. The auto responder is the simple version for everyone.

yurna doesn't reply – why?#

Check that the entry is switched on, whether a channel or role filter applies and whether the cooldown is still running. yurna needs Send Messages in the channel (and Add Reactions for reactions).

How fast do changes apply?#

Right after saving.
