Music and radio for your voice channel.
With /play yurna plays songs or radio stations in your voice channel – with a control panel and a queue for everyone.

Type /play. Step 1 of 3
yurna plays live radio in voice channels: more than 50,000 public stations from the free directory radio-browser.info, plus your own audio files. A control panel with buttons makes it easy for everyone in the channel. YouTube and Spotify together are available via /music together – using Discord's own features.
You'll find the page under Dashboard → Community & events → Music (/dashboard/<server>/musik).
Note
yurna does not play YouTube or Spotify – only public live streams of radio stations and audio files you upload yourselves. Whoever uploads a file needs the rights to it.
In the dashboard#
- Open Community & events → Music.
- Choose a Voice channel at the top – or keep Automatic (your voice channel): yurna then joins the channel you're in.
- Search for a name or genre under Stations (e.g. BBC, Lofi, Jazz) or click Show popular.
- Click Play next to a station. The star saves it as a favourite.
Other parts of the page:
- Now: what's playing, with Stop and Play.
- Favourites: saved stations. They also appear on the control panel in Discord.
- Settings: Volume (10 to 100 %, applies right away) and 24/7 – yurna stays in the channel even when nobody listens and comes back with the last station after restarts (Half Moon and up).
- Control panel: Post sends a fixed message with buttons to a text channel of your choice. It updates itself.
- Controls & access: Under Who may control it? choose Everyone in the voice channel, Specific roles (e.g. DJ) or Team only (members with "Manage Channels" or "Manage Server"). With Control panel in the voice channel chat yurna also posts the buttons in the voice channel's text chat.
Without 24/7, yurna leaves the channel once nobody has been in it for 2 minutes. When a file ends, yurna goes back to the last station played – or stops if no station was playing yet.
The control panel#
It shows what's playing, in which channel, the volume and whether 24/7 is on.

YouTube and Spotify together#
/music together youtubestarts Discord's official Watch Together activity: everyone in the voice channel sees the same YouTube video in sync. You need to be in a voice channel./music together spotifyexplains Discord's Listen Along feature: connect Spotify under Settings → Connections, start music, and friends click your status → Listen Along. Everyone needs Spotify Premium for this.
Common questions#
"Join a voice channel first." – what now?#
/music play, /music file and /music together youtube need you in a voice channel. Or pick a fixed voice channel in the dashboard.
yurna doesn't join the channel.#
Give yurna the Connect and Speak permissions there. Stage channels aren't supported, and a full channel doesn't work either.
"yurna is playing in another channel"?#
yurna can only play in one channel per server. As long as someone is still listening there, yurna won't switch.
Watch Together doesn't start.#
yurna needs the Create Invite permission in your voice channel.
The station cuts out.#
yurna reconnects up to 5 times. If that doesn't work, pick another station.
